Improved oil in water measurements.
Significant steps have been taken to improve oil in water measurements. Systems from Advanced Sensors have been able to operate in the field for many years with zero maintenance. The EX-100P2 determines oil in water concentration from low ppb to 20,000 ppm in two process streams simultaneously, to monitor water pollution. In addition to the features of the EX-100P2, the EX-1000P2 can automatically determine the type of oil that is being detected.
The use of an automated ultrasonic cleaning method allows the EX-100P2 and the EX-1000P2 to provide reliable and accurate measurements for many years without requiring maintenance or consumables, making the operating costs for these systems extremely low. Many users have reported zero maintenance over several years.
With the integral spectrum analyser, the EX-1000P2 logs data once a second and has sufficient storage for 10 years of data that can be displayed quickly and easily on the graphical user interface. The system is able to determine oil types, or if other species are present in the water.
Another unique feature of the EX-1000P2 is the ability to correct for different oil types. The individual spectrum for different oils can be determined by the spectrometer, and correct measurement calibration can then be applied to report an accurate oil in water ppm level.
