The MCT466-SF is a compact reliable gauge for accurately determining the moisture, oil and fat content of foodstuffs.

It is easily installed, and simple to use, normally located over a conveying system.  The MCT466-SF is fully modular, and all components can quickly be replaced in the field.

Near infrared (NIR) light is directed onto the product. The light reflected off the product is captured by a mirror, and focused onto the lead sulphide detector, where the microvolt output is converted into percent moisture or percent oil.
