The CF8 carbon dioxide (CO2) transmitter can be used to monitor applications such ventilation control for underground storage, food transport, tunnels, mining, etc. where CO2 levels can rise to dangerous levels. The CF8-W-Disp-GH is designed for use in greenhouses, and is equipped with an extra dust and water filter to provide long term maintenance free-use in adverse conditions.
Instances where CO2 can rise to a quite high level e.g. beer cellars and areas around CO2 cylinders (including soft drinks machines) are key areas that should be monitored for CO2 leaks.
The wall mounting IP54 housing of the CF8-W is designed for wall mounting in environmentally harsh areas that require CO2 monitoring, and provides a current or voltage and relay outputs with an optional display.
With a range of 0 to 4% (40,000 ppmv), the CF8-W alerts operators to high CO2 levels. The use of a non-dispersive infra-red sensor (NDIR) offers high precision and low maintenance with a sensor life expected to be in excess of 15 years. The automatic baseline correction means that no further calibration is required if the systems are installed in indoor applications.
