Cryogenic natural gas.
Natural gas can be conveyed around the world in the form of low temperature natural gas liquid. The cryogenic process separates the lighter hydrocarbon gases, and is susceptible to freezing up if the water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2) content of the feed gas is not carefully controlled at low ppmv levels. These processes require close monitoring with gas analysers for break-through of humidity and carbon dioxide.
